My External-LNZ breedz
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
LNZ breedfiles are simply overwriting breedfiles which go in a \ptzfiles\dog\xx or \ptzfiles\cat\xx directory instead of a \resource\dogz or \resource\catz directory. Once you have my "For Easy LNZ" packages for the relevant original breedz installed, your downloaded LNZ hexie will work just like any DOG or CAT hexie. Breeders will find that breedz stored in the form of .LNZ files are as easy to manage and keep track of as any overwriting .DOG or .CAT breed, and have the advantage of being a lot smaller. These LNZ files will work with those packages in any of Petz 3, Petz 4 or Petz 5.
For details of where the files go in your game, click here
Hexers, feel free to use the .lnz files if you wish for your own breedz, but I would appreciate an acknowledgement of my work.
Another special request, my "Dinosaur" base breed.
dino breed
This was requested by Blue Carpenter of dark master of dragons. It's made from my Spinosaurus stripped of its extra stuff, and can either be used by players who want a simple dino type or by hexers who want it as a base. So here is the .LNZ file, for use with my external-lnz Siamese packages which you can get from the "For Easy LNZ" pages; it will of course overwrite the normal Siamese's .LNZ.
Also by special request, the Sea Serpent breed.
This was requested at one of the forums -- RKC, I think it was, by Wild4Wildz. I intend to do sounds also, but for now the breed is silent. You can download the petz:
For Catz 3, 4 or 5.
And for those who want to breed with these petz here is the .LNZ file, complete with variations, for use with my external-lnz Calico packages which you can get from the "For Easy LNZ" pages; it will of course overwrite the normal Calico's .LNZ.
By special request, the Chao breed.
This was requested by people who play the Sonic Adventure games on Dreamcast and the Sonic Advance games on Gameboy Advance; for those (like me) who don't, the Chao is a small cute creature which you can kind-of adopt and bring up in the Chao Garden. They start life in an egg state, but in Petz they start already-hatched :-) In Sonic, they can be trained to have different attributes and emotional states which they evolve in appearance to suit, so there appear to be dozens of different possible Chaos. I give you just three in this breedfile, all of which have the same appearance (but cuter) in the baby stage as in the adult. In this breedfile you get the Dark Chao, the Angel Chao and, er, the simple light one. This breedfile is for the Catz games; I hope to get a Dogz one done also soon. I intend to do sounds also, but for now the breed is silent. You can download the petz:
And for those who want to breed with these petz here is the .LNZ file, for use with my external-lnz Calico packages which you can get from the "For Easy LNZ" pages; it will of course overwrite the normal Calico's .LNZ.
Note that Chao, like Kirby, tends to kick the food bowls away. But he is happy to eat treats and loves being fed from the bottle, so feed him that way :-)
The Mad Scientist presents Cerberus, the snake-tailed 3-headed dog, for your delectation.
Actually, a pair of Cerberus family petz...
For Dogz 3, 4 or 5. The cute li'l baby is not included, awwww... but, for those who want to breed with these petz (you must be bonkers!!) here is the .LNZ file, for use with my external-lnz Great Dane packages which you can get from the "For Easy LNZ" pages; it will of course overwrite the normal Dane's .LNZ.
The Mad Scientist presents the Cat 'o' Nine Tails (and three heads, she got really carried away).
For Catz 3, 4 or 5. For those who want to breed with it (are you crazy)?? here is the .LNZ file, for use with my external-lnz Alley-cat packages which you can get from the "For Easy LNZ" pages; it will of course overwrite the normal Alley's .LNZ.
