Here's what people thought of Catz!

I've been a new catz owner for less than 24 hours...picked pouncer (now Harvey) and 'feel' like there really is a cat in my computer! You folks know your cats...its like having a sentient being on screen. Since six cats really consider me their human and have trained me well...I wonder if Harvey has plans to shape me up too! I just wish I could have all five catz on screen...I mean their stuck in their baskets! Bravo to your technical expertise, humor and attention to details...and Thanks!

My wife and I have 7 cats and love them all. so i think a cat for my pc is great. a million thanks can't wait to see my wifes face when she sees it. and i know she love your web page. again thank you.

First off, beautiful job to all the people who spent a lot of time around cats and dogs and really know them intimately. I am flipping out and pestering all my aquaintances, but have noticed, perhaps next version there will even be evidence of someone who really knows mice. I suppose it's a cartoon mouse since typical users aren't used to real mice, but its off aspect (particularly the starched dumbo ears) detracts from the more-accurate kitten when they are both on the same screen... creators got the grooming down, but even that would only look real if much faster. Anyhow. Wonderful on everything else. Back to my petz, can't waste time typing...

Hello Catz people! First of all, I'd like to say that catz is a WONDERFUL program! I really love playing with them, they are really cute and very cuddly-looking (and they respond a lot better then dogz). The only problem I've found is that I've had a very hard time deciding which cat to adopt! Dogz had a quiz, which helped you decide which dog to adopt. Could it be possible to make one for catz too, to help people like myself?

thank you, and keep up the good work!

I enjoy the wonderful programs you have developed, such as Dogz and Catz. I would love to see a Ferretz version coming soon, with all the peculiar habits and behaviors of ferrets. I think this would be just as succesful as the previous Petz.

You must be doing something right. I purchases a copy at Egghead yesterday. Now two of my colleagues at work are planning on going out to get their own copies. It is quite entertaining and very well done. The catz look and act just like real cats. It even lifts its hind quarters when it is being petted. Now for some suggestions -- how about adding a litter box? Also, how about allowing interaction between Catz and Dogz if both are around...?
