NOTE -- as of May 2006, these files are now not needed if you go to Nicholas' site and download his Petza/babyza 2.2.1 or later. I'm leaving these files up here, though, for anyone who has problems with Babyza.

Windows XP users! You can play with the sounds on in your Babyz game, but if you want to do so you need to download all the files on this page and unzip them into the correct folders.
You also need to go to Sharon's Twilight Dreamz and download and install all the toyz on her babyz Windows XP Fixes page.
Please please remember to download her toy fixes -- this whole thing won't work right if you don't!

Make sure that you store your game original files somewhere safe in case you want to use them again. The downloads are large, sorry about that. If you have trouble downloading them from here, go to my Boardwalkers mirror site and try there -- or if you're at my mirror site, try my Petzwarehouse site, LOL

These first five files are zipped .dll files, and need to be unzipped into your game's Resource folder. They need to take the place of your game's original files, so move those originals out of there first.

(The sounds 3 file does not need to be changed, so leave your game original in place)
sounds 4 dll -- updated 26th feb
Re-download sounds 4 dll if you downloaded it before 26th
Sounds 5 dll

These four next files need to be unzipped into your game's Resource\Area folder. Once again, they need to take the place of your game's original files, so move those originals out of there first.

The back yard -- added 27th feb
The Kitchen -- replaced 03 march
The Family Room -- replaced 03 march
The Nursery -- replaced 03 march
The Clothes Closet -- added 03 march
The Playroom -- added 03 march
The Attic -- added 03 march

Finally, here are two more toy files -- replace the Clown Doll and Snow Globe with these, they should work without freezing the game I hope

Remember to also go to Sharon's Twilight Dreamz and download and install all the toyz on her babyz Windows XP Fixes page.

Your game shouldn't crash with these in place, and you should be able to hear most of the noises that your babyz make, plus most of the background noises such as windows opening and birds twittering. I cannot guarantee that I've caught all of the problem sounds, but I'm almost sure that I have.
